a quick post with hopefully more to follow sometime soon, I've got a backlog of stuff to get to, but I've had some thing holding up Firefox tabs, and they're as good as any to pass on.
| Design By Humans Another T-shirt voting site, like Threadless or Woot! Shirt, except this one seems to feel a little bit more illustrative and thus awesome. I have beef with Threadless just because there seems to be a Threadless "look", and I'm not a big fan, just saying. I like this site though, plus better payouts to designers. | ![]() |
| Circus Museum This has already made the rounds on the internets some time ago, but I didn't know about until I needed some reference on a circus freak poster. Amazing collection of old circus posters, it's huge and organized, and creepy. just make sure you turn off the sound. | ![]() |
| Thinkmule Jeremy Pruitt is Thinkmule. Thinkmule is awesome. Therefore, you should go look at his site. | ![]() |
| Jon Stich This one courtesy of Melanie of Design Inspirations, his work is pretty rad, definitely worth checking out. unfortunately, his site is in flash and I can't post anything from his site (because I'm too lazy to host it myself) | ![]() |
| Jenny Bird Alcantara Pretty sweet surrealist stuff. Maybe a little bit too derivative of Frida, but I think she's got her own thing going on and it works. Found her by doing a google image search on something ("birds" i think), and ended up seeing her work, which is why you should not have a site in flash while you're still up and coming and never had a feature interview, never know who or how someone might stumble on your site. (flash doesn't get crawled by search engine "spiders" aka your content doesn't get indexed) | ![]() |
And this is just funny: "Atheism vs Christianity: 2.More than likely, they are smarter than you are. This can be difficult to come to grips with, but it does appear to be true and is a claim that is actually supported by the Bible (1 Corinthians 1:18-31)" I'm not gonna comment, but when people admit their faults, it's always nice to see.
