No big post here, simply not enough time, been under the grind here. But just a couple quick hitter links to pass along and soon enough The Illust will be back up and running.

The Superest Really awesome idea and project from two illustrators/cartoonists: One draws a character with a superpower, and the other one draws a character with a power that negates the one before it. Really awesome stuff.

In Russia, the fake vending machine wears you! As the article says, there's not much street-crime to worry about, but concern is reaching a fever pitch, so this artist made a skirt which transforms into a fake vending machine, which is pretty rad. you can see the transformation in an animated gif here

Boomboxes! a page full of awesome old school boomboxes, like in "Do the Right Thing" (didja know that "Fight the Power" was originally created for the movie, not appropriated by Spike Lee, is there any other song created specifically for a movie that is good or great (like this one)?)
